Initial Research Pathway: F-15E Wing Design
Boeing's delivery of F-15SG (F-15E Strike Eagle) jets to Singapore, 2017 Initial Background Research We will be visiting the NASA Technical Reports Server, along with the Aerospace Research Central website in order to gain a deeper understanding on the F-15E Strike Eagle's wing design. On the server, we plan to review and explore detailed articles and technical reports for more information on the structural design, aerodynamic principals and functional capabilities of the F-15E's wings. This research will provide important insights into how its wing design elements impact the aircraft's performance as a multirole fighter jet, particularly in its versatility in air-to-air and air-to-ground missions, as well as its maneuverability capabilities. Our research will focus on the following specifications: materials used, dimensions, versatility, special features, and maintenance.
